Tier 0 Runic, Tier 2 Despia Sprites and other paper bundles
Despia was stronger than expected, and Sprite was honestly identified as a Vending Machine (largely disadvantageous for first attack against Runic, tight or weak for second attack), and was underestimating, but was weaker than underestimation.
Runic is competitive against almost all decks in the environment, and it is a fraudulent theme that allows you to fight in the back with the power of its own theme card + continuous trap even though it does not use any back play cards.
Except for Despia, there is no deck that is difficult to overwhelm in the first attack, and the latter has superiority or equality against many themes such as sprites
If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed
Export Guide

Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
(PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
The deck will save automatically
Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it
This guy does more duels in 3 days than I manage to do in a whole month... it's insane the ammount of time some people can afford to burn on playing video games.
Yes... but that's because Runick Fountain allows you to easily search for the floodgates. If the floodgates were gone or possibly even at 1 then Runick Stun would have nothing to search for, except floodgates they never use right now because they frankly are far less good. People's hatecrush on killing Runick as a strategy is to the point that it feels like they'd be disappointed if Konami hit the actual problem cards because they didn't get their pound of flesh.
nope, it's actually because 1) fountain isn't a hopt, 2) it constantly replenishes their supply of quick plays, and 3) it allows them to activate said quick plays from the hand during opponent's turn.
IDK why people alway want to kill a deck, you know what the trade-off of playing runick? Literally fill your deck with junk just to have a draw engine that give you a plus 3 each turn. If your deck can't play through 1 monster negate and 1 pop, just uninstall the game.
Runick have so much interesting deck that fair but everyone just fountain ban blah blah.
Nah you've got to limit munin and geri, and semi-limit storm, droplet, and dispelling, and even semi-limit inspector boarder that's totally how you stop it
I wish I had the patience to do even a fraction of the amount of duels this dudes done in the past few days. If I spend anymore than a few hours dueling I get really tilted.
Turns out, when you can draw at least 3 cards per turn (sometimes 9) and you run 8 floodgates, some of these are going to appear with consistency. Please ban all floodgates Konami (including Maxx "C").
I really hope he can be the top1 at the end of the event, so maybe Konami will hit those brainless floodgates and those drawing cards. Runick isn't a problem to me, it's just a very strong (but fair) engine.
Good on this player for trying to prove a valid point (I am admittedly curious about the other standings and if this is an outlier due to this player's obvious meta knowledge and skill, but the consistency means Konami needs to address it regardless), but it's really funny that people complain about Konami not listening to fans when you just have to read this comments section to know that plenty of fans don't actually get what the problem with Runick stun is.
Runick does not need more than 1 fountain in most games, given how easily recurrable and searchable it is. In most games if you get rid of fountain and they can not protect it or easily get it back and immediately respond, you are in a position where you either will certainly win, or the game has gotten out of control to the point that it is incredibly unlikely that they can recover because the Runick cards don't allow you to actually build much advantage, they are entirely responsive. And outside this scenario, more than 1 Fountain is INCREDIBLY win-more. There IS a scenario where Runick can search for a second fountain, but if they have the ability to do that, they already have an insane Turn 1 hand which means they're probably winning anyway, or they are so far ahead they are likely winning anyway.
The problem with Runick stun is the floodgates. It has always been the floodgates, it will always be the floodgates. Fountain is not bad in Runick stun because of Draw 3, because the Runick cards don't allow you to win with Draw 3 in itself. There's a reason why pure Runick was never dominant in either of the OCG or TCG despite other stun decks like Mystic Mine burn doing great despite the existence of a side deck. it is bad because it allows Runick to easily search for the floodgates, and at 2 the floodgates are too easy to find and are too recurrable because if they hit one skill drain, you can just flip the other one over. That is the issue. If the floodgates are at one, if you get rid of them, that's it, because there is literally no way in a Runick deck to recur them. I'd prefer they be banned, but that hits Runick stun incredibly hard. If they're banned, of course, Runick stun is basically dead, because they'll be forced to rely on floodgates that are far less good, especially with Shifter at 2.
Either the commenters genuinely have no clue how to fix how good this deck is, or they are so desperate to hit Runick that a pound of flesh is more important than actually correcting the problem. If you hit Fountain, the Runick Stun players will either adapt, or go back to Eldlich Stun. You haven't actually accomplished anything except hit an engine that is honestly fine without the floodgates, unless somebody can explain how Runick Spright or Orcust are somehow inherently bad.
So is it me?? but, I kinda hate when ppl leave their pic as just the guy with no face and no border u play the game enough to spice up your profile..lol
yes but some people treat it as some form of tactic that you are giving some information about your potential deck by XD having a specific sleeve, deck box and **** like that
Well ... I guess people just don't want to loose time against this deck, to be honest I'm not even sure it is as good as is seems to be... just a guy playing by the "time rule"
I know branded is so strong in this runick meta especially the ishizu variant, but konami pls leave branded alone for next banlist the problem is snow, grass, and ishizu engine not branded itself
How come stun floodgate winning duelist cup events here? That why 3 floodgate he using, gozen match, there can be only one and gozen match must be ban. Skill drain must limited to copy. This limit it up the floodgate, or konami want to go extreme like what OCG banlist, limit all top floodgates like summon limit, anti spell fragments, mistake to 1 copy.
Branded popular. Konami please leave Branded untouched next banlist. We're still waiting for Dragoon, Garura and the Bystials. Maybe a few months after those cards released you can then hit the deck
TBH guys, yes floodgates are always a big problem, but only if they resolves and keep staying on the field, just run some lightning storm and drew it, easy win.
