Notes & Combos

So, this is my build for both Master 1 and Duelist Cup. The approach we take is different though. I found that you encounter a lot more handtraps in this cup so you need to be cautious. I prepared nice tips that'll help you in this cup or in any other mode really.

• Start by letting your activation toggle off but keep your mouse on it. As soon as they sense you have a response to their effects, they'll take a different route and try to bait you as much as possible.
• Use Maxx C AFTER using another handtrap and keep track if they have any sort of response because the turn to activate something will alternate to every move you make. Then, you need to take a different a route too.
• If you start with Martha + Pax, bait Ash with Pax first. If it resolved, then they might have Maxx C. In that case, summon Martha and normal summon a different monster > go for Mikailis and and search Vadis. If you have Called By The Grave, search Returnia. You can use called by to trigger Martha's effect and dodge something and make an XYZ Exo. Save Returnia to banish a key card > Make Magnifica and boom, you have two additional bans AND you didn't take Nibiru during your first because you kept 4 summons.
• Using your pot, make sure you get Designator in every possible chance, you'll only suffer to Veiler and Droll that way because they're not targets but still Droll isn't much of a problem since Pax is a quick spell.
• Btw: Arment can also be used in that aforementioned situation with Mikailis and Martha on the field. You can just transform Martha into an Exo if they don't send a monster to the GY that could be targeted by Called by and then you have the Returnia's second effect at your disposal too. Use this card whenever you have only one Exo in hand too, it saved me a couple of times or just transform a Mikailis into another one after using both her and Magnifica's effect. It's a good one of even though it's only N rarity and you don't see it in other builds.
