Hello again, everyone! I didn’t have much time to grind this season, but with a surprisingly high win rate, I finally reached Master 1 with the Ultimate Wizard once again!

This version of the deck uses the Toy Box engine, currently the best engine for Dark Magician, as it provides draws and extra bodies for Link and Synchro plays. The deck performed exceptionally well against most matchups, especially going first. I anticipated that Tenpai players would let me go first, and that’s exactly what happened. I’ve made some replays public and recorded my climb from Master 5 to Master 1 (maybe I’ll upload some VODs to YouTube?). Here’s some information about my climb with the deck:

The deck plays through handtraps quite easily, but loses hard to Maxx C. If you want to add 2x Called by the Grave instead of relying on opening Ash Blossom, you can cut Circle and ES to include them since they are the 'least crucial' cards. However, I feel that doing so would take away the essence of the deck, so I decided not to do it.
