Notes & Combos
Happy to play my favorite TCG deck in MD. Playing Twins means you know how dependant you are on your normal summon at least until we get the new support and/or having answers for Maxx C and Fuwalos but has very strong endboards.
Goal is to cycle Twins into Unchained links into Fiendsmith plays and endboard depended on the coinflip. Knightmare Gryphon if I got to go first and Desirae if made to go first. If they make me go first, I assumed they had board breakers and having Desirae can negate 1 of them hopefully. Getting Drolled means you don't get to the Unchained part of your combo but can do fiendsmith combo and not worry about Maxx'c/Fuwa.
I wanted to keep the deck to 15 hand traps because Twins do not have the most starters but the exaxt HT's are open as I swapped ratios a lot during the climb.
First card to replace could be Nibiru. Having Nib resolve and them not removing it is anti-synergy with the Twin and causes you but I kept it just because Imperm + Nib was an auto surrender. Also, a lot of times they still somehow made Engraver and used Requiem to clear the Nib which I was always grateful for.
Ogre was mainly for Deception/Exodia/and baiting Appo negates but could be more Veiler or Fuwalos.
Also, Heavy Storm and Thrust were silver bullets for the random backrow based decks but can be swapped for more HTs or another Secret Password. It doesn't come up often but sometimes you can extend by Heavy Storming your own Unchained Trap.
