What a terrible month I picked for my first (and last) push to M1 — season was very luck based, most of the time I don't think I outplayed the opponent when I won or got outplayed when I lost. Even felt my best play was last week after spiralling down to M5 after a failed promo attempt and switching to D-Link to try having some fun again. But I felt like locking in and went from M5 to M1 with ~80% winrate last night!

I had to squeeze every bit of performance going 1st, as I insta scooped almost every duel going 2nd LMAO. Only bothered to play if they passed on a near-empty board due to bricking or my C resolving, I don't have the stomach to watch the Snake-Eye Azamina horror show 10 times an hour. I know I'm a hypocrite, sorry not sorry.

List is pretty standard, some notes:

• we keep to 40 cards to maximize chance of opening outs to the blowout hand traps plaguing us now
• I've seen some remove either Caesar or Varudras, but both came up often enough for me
• no Almiraj — going 2nd was scoop turbo, so I didn't care much for Hail Mary plays involving Almiraj into S:P or Gates shenanigans after being hand trapped on DBB
• we are pretty decent against Nib so I didn't bother including one for Crossout
• Veiler is one of the best hand traps against Millennium Exodia, which I faced quite a bit last night, so I kept it
