Notes & Combos

I surprisingly didn't have to resort to my Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa (TM) blind 2nd build this season!

Reached M1 before the Blue-Eyes and Tachyon stuff even came out, so I have no matchup experience against them... Even if they don't match up against Azamina, I still feel like they'll be popular. Luckily, unlike Fendsmeet, you don't care much about Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, only its retrain, so that matchup should be a bit easier.

Droll puts in work this format and everyone knows it... being able to turbo draw into Droll or the C is a huge reason to play this deck.

Early versions of this deck had Linkuriboh instead of the 2nd Zeus. Maybe don't do that... during the climb, I was never in a situation where I was "glad I had" Linkuriboh.

Triple feels situational -- and I can't believe I'm saying that with how loaded the card is. It won't save you from getting Imperm'd on your only play, so prepare for some tilting. Abuse the dump out of the peek effect going first, which you have to if you get Drolled... chances are that was your opponent's only starter, or else you'll quickly learn how to counter the rest of their hand.

Hilariously, Typhon came up more than Linkuriboh! My opponent had paid themselves down with Millenniums, went for a Fendsmeet combo which I Imperm'd the Sequence and they made it SP pass. They Drolled me in main after I searched Happy Memory, so I Triple took their SP, made Happiness just to put its ATK over SP's, and Typhon for barely game! Super funny outcome.

Statistically Tenpai players were giving me free games this season, with no Summoning hard drawn my Veiler kept landing on Paidra ~w~ Only tip for that matchup: save your Bloss if you can -- you might need it to shut down their last-ditch Kaimen attempt.
