Notes & Combos

Holy **** this was a grind and a half, I started grinding in the last week and barely made it with only a couple days left. Was hard stuck M3 for the longest time until I started going blind second which was just insanely good?

You auto win vs tenpai unless you brick and the matchup vs tear/mathmech/vv/yubel/cent is still fairly strong provided you open bystials/droll.

The worst matchups was chimera and other fusion decks that just have too much grind to beat without stalling with chaos angel (in which case you pray they don't have Spoly)

Onto choices in the deck, I run 2 hop ears because if you resolve it tenpai can't easily otk you and its just a decent interruption. Droll at 2 because its just insanely good at stopping turns and we don't care too much about adding stuff to our hand.

Chunjun lets you tribute an opponents monster if in hand and also lets ecclesia turn into a level 6 non tuner (that banishes) if you need it for synchro plays.

Majestic dragon and PEP never came up but they almost did multiple times (I just never had less LP than my opponent when I could summon them and remembered they existed). So they are very cuttable (makeable using stardust illumination).

Crimson dragon lets you turn certain hands into Dis pater and Baronne + a bystial spell/trap.

Etude is a tricky card and pseudo floodgate that catches lots of people unawares/lets you make a cangel using your tokens.

This deck is decently bricky but often you should be able to break your opponents board and deny their follow up, especially because some people opt to use resources for anti otk techs which we dont care about since otking is rare (depending on how strong our hand vs their board is).

Got a whole bunch of replays from m5 to m2, with various versions of this deck. They are the ones with diabolos, stardust dragon and magna as main cards.
