Unlike other decks, our White Forest journey to Master 1 was surprisingly smooth. \nThe deck’s synergy, combined with the sheer power of Toy Box, made for an incredibly consistent and resilient strategy. Toy Box is crazy good—it maximizes the deck’s potential, allowing for strong plays even under heavy disruption.

In fact, this deck can withstand up to four interruptions and still manage to execute solid combos, keeping you in the game no matter the matchup.

Basically the same as my M5 list, with the exception of taking out 1 Rucia for 1 Astellar. I rarely used its on field effect and I don't think I resolved a single time whenever I did go for it, but I'd probably stick with these monster ratios going forward regardless.

Didn't experiment with adding Amritara and Reframing since I didn't want to add any more soft garnets, so that will be on the to-do list for next month's climb. I never felt like my issue was that my first turn end board lacked another omni, but rather that it was sometimes hard to get started after being hit by Ash and/or Imperm. That may change if Fiendsmith gets added into the meta, so we'll see how it goes.

No noteworthy games during my climb to M1, so these are all replays during my climb to M5. These should showcase how to still win games when Fountain gets banished or if you get Maxx C'ed turn 1. Sometimes it's worth giving them a couple draws to give yourself a couple draws, and sometimes it's better to sit on Woes and pass.

Been awhile since I've enjoyed a deck this much. This deck creates interactive duels you never know how games are going to play out.

I went minimal handtraps as I hedged my bets on runick's, droplet , and a couple Maxx C's (was running 2 before ban list announcement) would be eboufh to steal a few wins going second. Then going first the deck can very easily play through multiple handtraps and set up disruptions. Talents was used so many times to shuffle back a card in their hand after being disrupted.

For specialized deck choices talents felt like I kept having multiples so I opted for a thrust instead of a 3rd copy. This then led me to run a Goat Laughs which was incredibly useful vs decks like tenpai going first or often a discard from a WF monster to help break their board. I ran 3x Hugin and went through all 3 countless times. I don't know how people run this with only 2. Coral was the least used ED monster. I went tri edge way more often and coral could be subbed for something else like a Rank4 or spellcaster link2 easily.

Also sorry yes, I ran skill drain because it is legit OP in this deck. It's stupid to not negate all your opponents monsters on their turn then send and draw with rucia.

Biggest weakness of this deck are probably droll (you have to plan your plays for droll turn 1 like prioritizing woes) and evenly can really hurt. Other than that nothing you see too often. Tenpai can't get past lifht+dark chaos angel in Def mode without a negate so often made her turn 1 next to diabell.

Overall, if you enjoy interactive duels give this a go. As of posting this I have 7 WF runick replays saved. Check them out with my ID 130-686-645.

Packbit is slept on—good removal against VV/Branded and can do some cool T1 combos with the Cents.

3 Emblema enables easier access to the Cent engine, playing well into Maxx C and the Mulcharmies; you can also start with Emblema and make your opponent think you're on pure Cent only to switch to WF plays if you get handtrapped.

So, unlike last season, reaching M5 was surprisingly easy — I did it in just two days (from D5).

I’m not sure if it's because I finally managed to achieve good ratios or because people are waiting for the new expansion to start playing, but it went well both when starting first and going second.

The list is quite standard. The only real threats are Maxx "C" (and Fuwalos), but apart from that, you can brute-force through every other hand trap.

The Diabellstar package helps diversify plays: you can send Toys or Astellar, and the trap provides protection from board-breaker cards. If you're confident the opponent doesn't have any ht and you have Astellar plus a spell/trap or Toy, you can try the Astellar line, which ends with Baronne, Diabell, the Mannadium counter trap, and Woes: this endboard is stronger than it looks.

I've been using the third Maxx "C." When it gets restricted, I think I'll add a second Fuwalos or maybe a second Chicken Game.

Helpful tips:

WF send for cost, so you can always start the toy engine with it.
Diabellstar set trap, works under droll and ash,Visas drow instead.
Tank special summon from hand if you dont have toybox, i almost lost a game for that missplay.

I finally made it back to Master! I was originally trying to climb with a fire pile deck (Rescue-Ace mainly, including Snake-Eye Fire King).

The deck performs really well going first and second. Only 12 handtraps/boardbreakers, but most hands let you play through the important disruptions going second, and a couple hand traps going first. I’ve consistently been able to put up great boards after being ashed and impermed/veilered. Charmies and the roach can hurt since there’s a few engines, but it’s not terrible to sit on Woes and Silvy to pass. This is especially nice with the toys in the backrow and other handtraps you might’ve drawn.

Overall very smooth climb, around 70% winrate between D5 and M5, going first and second. Nibiru helps a lot since people don’t expect it, definitely won me some games. I would play a second blazar … I don’t have one. Happy climbing, I can[t] wait for Fiendsmith.
