Notes & Combos

Notes: (updated on 06/01/2025)

1. I don't play "That Grass Looks Greener" because I don't play cards like "Chaos Nephthys", "BiW", "Branded Sword", "The Golden Swordsoul" etc. It's still a great card though if you build your deck to get optimal usage of it.
2. For me, the 60-card deck is just a matter of having more resources for grinding games and not being so susceptible to drawing your deck out (if you maxx c and they go for the challenge) or giving lots of resources for opponents that are playing Grass. Nonetheless, 40 or 50 cards builds are still very nice.
3. I play 8+ handtraps. I like to interact with the opponent and also play some board breakers. It's a personal choice. However, branded without handtraps is a very good strategy too, no doubt about it.
4. "D/D/D Vice Kind Requiem": I don't play the lock, I don't find it interesting. However, it can be very good if it fits your playstyle.
5. "Verte": I only use Anaconda to bring Mirrorjade. I saw some people playing Dragoon but I'm not convinced it's a great choice just yet, and the Extra Deck is quite tight. Maybe I'll give it a try in the future.
6. "Sprind": it's very good to SS on opponents turn vs any monster they SS when I have Rindbrumm on grave, it catches most people offguard. Besides, when I ditch it for Mirrorjade eff, I get Kitt for next turn as an extender.
7. "Albion the Braded Dragon": It's a great card to have at 2, but the Extra Deck is super tight, I had to take some hard decisions. And I prefer better the ratio of 1 Red Albion, 1 Lenatus and 2 Granguignol.
8. "Book of Eclipe" is my preference instead of "Super Poly" or "Forbidden Droplet". Eclipse protects my searchers against "Veiler" or "Impermanence", the other two cards don't, it's the main reason for my choice.
9. "Brightest, Blazing, Branded King": I play it in order to have a searchable card that allows me to deal with floodgates. It's also good to use as a discard or send from deck and add to hand from grave during EP.
10. "Bystials": I play all of them because I want BiHS to always be live. Like that, if the normal summon eff is stopped, I can BiHS, discard a Bystial, ditch Titanik, search Kitt, special it and get BF to go on playing.
