Notes & Combos

Testing my favorite deck in the new 9 Maxx "C" meta! It's nearly identical to the previous season, with one key addition: Mulcharmy Fuwalos. This deck embraces the "fight fire with fire" philosophy. The combination of supreme king with melodious as an engine creates an insanely fun powerhouse.

The deck features multiple starters designed to bait hand traps. It can further establish a negate with Vortex Dragon before the main combo. This setup counters major threats like Nibiru. Impressively, it can even secure wins under Maxx "C" by leveraging Forbidden Village, Bagooska, and an I:P to S:P setup, effectively locking the opponent out of the game.

Exceed the Pendulum usually stays on the field for a Forbidden Village spellcaster and she gives us another special summon during the opponents turn.

Going second is also a viable strategy thanks to a solid lineup of hand traps. The Pendulum mechanic adds versatility by allowing these cards to double as materials when needed. For closing games, Psychic End Punisher and Underworld Goddess of the Closed World shine both going first and second.

Psychic End Punisher, with the help of Soul of the Supreme King, becomes an unaffected OTK machine or a nearly unbreakable board piece.

Underworld Goddess of the Closed World can disrupt the opponent's turn or act as an unstoppable board breaker when going second.
