Notes & Combos
Same deck as last season. Some people had some questions last time that I couldn't answer in a timely fashion, so I'll try to answer most of them here.
"What's the win cond. besides summon limit?"
Punch hard.Very hard. Nemleria at its core is a control strategy. Your main goal is to survive long enough to use Nemleria's effect, and the way you do that is with the Nemleria trap cards. Louve can summon out Dreaming Reality so you can activate its book of moon effect during your opponent's turn. Louve also has the effect to reduce a monster's attack and defense by 100 for every face down banished card, but you have to banish Louve from your graveyard to activate this effect. Both of these effects can be activated on the same turn. Repeter has three effects you can activate depending on how many cards you banish from your extra deck. Its most powerful effect is to negate the effects of every monster your opponent controls, and requires you to banish three cards from your extra deck. It's second effect reduces the damage you take for the rest of the turn by half, and requires two cards from your extra deck. It's last effect is your main grind tool. By banishing one card from your extra deck, you can return a Nemleria card from your graveyard to your hand. These two cards is how your going to be disrupting your opponent's plays. It might not seem like much, but a well timed book of moon or board negate can end your opponents turn. The rest of your disruption is hand traps. Once it's your turn again, you want to end the duel as fast as you can, either with your Nemleria monsters after clearing the board with Nemleria's effect, or with the rail cannon monsters if you still have two level 10s on field. Summon limit is both the best and worst card in the deck. It can shut down any combo deck, but it can also prevent you from closing games by limiting how many monsters you can get on the field.
"No Maxx C?"
No Maxx C. Maxx C doesn't help this deck with going second, since the deck doesn't have any strong going second plays. Even if it could help, Ash Blossom, Called By, and Crossout Designator make sure that Maxx C doesn't resolve half the time.
I saw someone on the Nemleria discord channle ask, "What are Gen and Ken?"
This deck stuggles against board breakers. Even if you survive the turn, you might not be able to recover without a good topdeck draw. Gen and Ken are how I turn off board breakers like Lightning Storm and Evenly Matched.
