Notes & Combos

The stun list with more Gravekeeper's names than the average Gravekeeper's build. No graves being kept here! Instead you'll be taking advantage of this event's banlist and get a considerable winstreak. All credit for the conception of this wild ride goes to Captan, whose Priestess fanaticism truly knows no bounds.

  • The gameplan is simply bludgeoning your opponent into submission with Gravekeeper's Priestess while you enjoy the protection of the generic goodstuff and the Necrovalley-specific supports. Unaffected monsters get ran over by Moon Mirror Shield while the rest gets joinked back into the ED via Ultimate Slayer (which has no business in this event). The amount of proper counterplay is minimal and only Baronne is the common omni-negate you can expect to see - not that scary when factoring in Spell Speed 3 disruption.
  • Going 2nd is hardly a problem, but you obviously prefer the massive handrip and anti-SS floodgate, which absolutely maims opponents who are playing by this event's rules (lots of monsters which special summon themselves from the hand etc).
  • Room for improvement: You could run an actually optimized ED as mine was mainly filler. Just make sure to pack at least a Wind Pegasus @Ignister and a Pendulum target for Slayer. I Synchro Summoned exactly once this event. Generic Hand-Traps such as Ash Blossom and Effect Veiler not only give you more consistency in Moon Mirror Shield targets, but also tremendously increases your available ED names and plays. Also, don't forget to leave out Imperial Iron Wall - I forgot to clear it:^)

I am using this deck. Only two battles so far: victory againts swordsoul in a battle that was apparently lost, and defeat againts a ghoti that broke the lock using its own field spell. But very funny deck. I miss pachy chad...
