Notes & Combos
Post banlist friendly list.
Used this list to climb to Master 1. 10 winstreak when i reached it.
Basically a standard bystial centurion deck with the slight addition of rumble.
If you have either Primera or Trudea plus field spell then you can make blazar turn 1.
-
Activate field spell. Place the name you dont have.
-
Then normal or special summon Trudea (depends on how you got her), activate to place gargoyle.
-
Then normal or special summon Primera, dont activate effect.
-
Summon Gargoyle and make crimson. Crimson search rumble and add back gargoyle.
-
Use rumble to summon primera (ONLY POSSIBLE IF YOU DIDNT ACTIVATE EARLIER) and now activate to search bonds.
-
Send Trudea so summon Gargoyle from hand.
-
Now you can make either Auxila or Legatia (either search the trap or draw a card if you have it already).
-
Use crimson to summon blazar and use bonds to place a name in backrow to make another 12 on their turn.
And here you go. Blazar turn 1 while still having the rest of the end board. It's a 2.5 card combo so not that common but it's nice when you pull it off.
BIG WARNING though. This line is very susceptible to HTs. Imperm or Veiler on crimson leaves you with basically nothing. Because of this I only do this line if i got called by/crossout in hand or the name I had in hand was Trudea. Starting the combo with Trudea lets you feel out responses for imperm and veiler. At which point you can just go the normal Centurion combo.
Pros:
- Consistent: You got 12 starters for the basic line
- HT friendly: Handtraps dont really hurt it certainly if you got a few extenders.
- HT heavy: You can run lots of handtraps to deal with various decks. This version has 15 (including 3 bystial)
- Grindy: Centurions already recycle a lot but the bystials at even more grind game.
Cons:
- Small endboard: Most of the time you end with 2 disruptions on field plus whatever handtraps. So versus decks with lots of extension it can be though if you dont know where to stop them.
- Weak turn 2: The deck has some extension but not a lot it. If handtraps didnt stop the enemy turn a bit then playing through big boards can be really difficult.
Replays
Just look up any Centurion gameplay. It's all the same.
